Okay so after some initial listening I can say that everyone who has given their first impressions are freakin spot on. Id also like to add that the DX50 is of a slower sounding nature and reminds me of the Soloist.

I just had to play each song manually to get shuffle all music to work...

Play button has a one second lag.
There is a lot of hiss with the JH16. Mid gain seems to have less hiss than low gain. Seriously.

 
Agree on the point that DX50 is slower sounding compared to others like studio v, j3, imod, ak100. It was most obvious to me when i played Metallica's Black album.

After fixing some files, the player plays flawlessly. Touchscreen is very responsive. Only thing missing now is play all files. Sound is terrific. Not as clinical as DX100. Fun sound. Very good player.

Player is working well for me but when placed near my mobile phone when out and about, it's susceptible to RF interference. Is there anyway we can shield it ourselves? Maybe iBasso can look into this for future batches?

I have the same problem here..... would be great if there is a case which can shield it...

dont think a case can help on this...this has to be covered from the inside...
 
so far the fiio x3 doesnt seem to have this issue..has been using it for close to 2 weeks and i didnt experience the interference from my phone even i put side by side to it..

But just for the record, you need to put it very close to the phone so to get the interference... It will be great if theres a method to avoid this

To the guys who want to know about the 50 vs the C3...

The 50 wins hands down. My C3 is paired with the C&C BH amp and the DX50 is superior. 

I agree, it's sounding better the longer it's run...I've had music pumping out of the thing for a day and half solid and it really does sound better than when I first played it.

They gotta fix this tagging thing...I don't want to re-tag 3000 flacs...that's nuts. I'v also done a few albums but there's got to be a better way.

What's a good tagging software?

Can you give some details on c3/bh2 combo vs dx50? I have a dx50 3rd batch on the way to replace my combo in hopes that it is a significant upgrade. The combo can be fatiguing with brighter iems. The waiting is killing me.

Like i pointed out before, they have been saying "2 days" for several days now.   At some point, if there was a specific day, it should have been 1 day.   The replies have been consistently "2 days."   That has been going on for a few days now.  So, I would not take that literally.  I am taking this to mean: soon.   Hopefully.
