THE HYPE.............................. Appreciation Thread.

Could be the mikros also...you never know :p. The hype is strong with the tx1 and 2, but i think it will be a couple weeks before some serious hype. Joker wont get to reviewing them for months so.

The Mikros only gave me a bad case of diarrhea -- a sip of Pepto-Bismol took care of that problem nicely.

I get the impression that Joker reviews the stuff that Tyll sends him a little faster.

I dunno. Nick might weaken (Hear that Nick) he's been jonesing for something philps for a bit. We might actually get a valid opinion if he does. Rather than the new found usual "Better than the K3003, Ety ER4, and cures syphilis too" reviews and opinions that have arisen of late.

I will recuse myself as I am tickled pink with the 5 buck Philips HL150 portables, which, it goes without saying, are just like having Wilson Grand Slamms stuck to your ears while overendowed golden haired angels caress your nether regions.

Better things come to he who effs off of specious HF threads and heads out to thrift shops and yard sales:) Tis the season. (I hope) Went from Minus 9 Sat to +10 today. Dear god let spring finally be here.

forget the YH-** entirely, i nearly had them for ridiculous price, but my estimate is a final of $978, let's see . Was a very small overlooked bit on my part should have asked for the invoice right away. Oh well probably another case of hyped idealism vs actual sound

Yes rumour has it they sound for poop. However no one has ever modded them. Too valuable to mess with apparently. They might fall into the buy cheap and sell off later to buy a high end phone (or killer vintage amp) classification. You know someone will always go gaga over em.

To me the whole idea of the s1/s2 and these new ones sound unappealing. The open back of them for the most part is what does it, I want something that Isolates if I'm going to murder my ear for it, and the "half" in ear thing doesn't cut it.

I find that to be one of the more comfortable configurations, but I am crazay, just ask.

Well yeah, I feel like you trade isolation for comfort. On an unrelated note....I know you all can understand when I say it is miserable waiting for something to be delivered. Taking so long it feels like im being trolled by ups.

I too my good man, am in wait, 'tis a long lingering affair, yet I too must come to terms with it. Alas, difficulty abounds, and I shall henceforth be awarded for this lingering emptiness with a glory beyond words.
Rarities of the IEM species, these shall be treated accordingly, after their sojourn from the Germanic realms finds them safely within my grasp.

It's too late to to speak in such a way, but you're commitment impresses me. I await a closed can, of the japanese variety(sub $200, ruling out fostex, of course), and possibly some schiit.

I have the kc06 and they are on the Same league as the fx850 so why resist:smiling_imp::joy:

Not even alluding to it anymore, just straight out saying it. Also is it a fail on my computer/browsers part that all I see after mochi posts are one or two square boxes? instead of possible some sort of emoji.
