Secondly, I doubt the'll offer the X5 all in black. The buttons are going to be a tad hard to locate at dusk with all that black monolithic look, not they are hard to find but it'll make it easier to spot if it's shiny. In general silver buttons on a contrasting background is the common theme, any themes where the buttons seem to mesh with the body tend to be avoided. Of course there are always exceptions. To be honest I don't mind the gold/black combo, it's really festive.

Edit: How about anodized buttons like red, blue, green, etc... that would be another option available for buttons.

If the X5 release is getting pushed back then I'll probably end up buying a X3 immediately and get the X5 a few months after international launch.
