I don't know exactly how I'd go about it, but seeing that I am in Vietnam, it is possible to get some sort of  good quality aftermarket leather case for the X3 built in reasonable quantities here - I just don't know who to talk to...a large amount of leather goods are made here and something like this would be very easy to make...

The silicon case is included in the box with X3. 

I meant accessory 'upgrades' its great the cases you have pictured come with the player, I too have changed my mind, I thought you meant solid white too, I like the translucent white better than black

If the X3 matches or exceeds the sound I get from my rockboxed 5.5G ipod -->LOD-->E11 setup, I'll be happy.

About the SQ, Usually we will say nothing about it by let it be discussed by our customers, but depend on the feedback of our ALPEN/E17, I think most people can expect the result .

I'm hoping for even better than an e11/e17. They are fine but the elimination of usb interface, another gen of refinement and a proprietary matching FW could make this special. Nice to see them not rushing this. Getting it right will help allow this price with volume sales.

We will make some engineer samples and ask some end user in China to help us test it before we manufacture it . very sorry, it is so difficult to arrange a oversea beta test because we may 
 
need to fix some hardware bugs so the time and freight will be a big problem.

thanks, it is not so smart to promise so much especially about the SQ because it depend on each person. anyway, let us see what happen in the future.
