No, not that I/we know of.
 
This is because we Don`t know If the USB OTG function of the DX50 is only to support external hard drives or whether it will also support audio out.
 
IF, IF, IF! it does support audio out via OTG then it will work with all models of Hifi-M8/Hifi-M8-LX due to it being via USB-B.
 
We are waiting for more information.

The DX50 doesnt support  USB audio, you cant use it with your D42 via USB.

Oh well. I was hoping I could switch from an IPC to the DX50 for "ultraportable" use, with the DX50 also serving as a transport for my soon-to-be-ordered M8. I'll try to keep off this thread until my unit arrives
