I'm slowly starting to lust after these things. Where is resistance when you need it! Its a good thing for me they are not still on sale for $200 :frowning2:

If anybody in the UK wants my pair, give me a shout (PM). I have my eye on X and need to help fund it.

Gintaras, I see in the other thread you've had a chance to check out the 1plus2.  Could you give a comparison of your impressions of the H-200 and the 1plus2?

I know they compete in different leagues, but I'm still curious.  I've gone through about half of this thread and still find it difficult to form a mental image of how these perform.  That's not entirely unusual for head-fi, but there doesn't seem to a whole lot of consensus.

Nice review!!

Great read, SkyBleu! Couldn't have said it better myself, especially the following:

Nice review Skyblue! im getting a similar setup like u, Gintaras & H20 soon, c3+bh combo .. cant wait!!!

Thanks for the support, guys:)

SkyBlue, try them with C3 and BH amp, this will be a real ear opener :-D

Gintaras, I have tried that combination and the results are wonderful!

I couldn't get a picture of that combo as I have sold my last interconnect to a friend. I am however waiting on a cryo silver interconnect that is coming very soon! :)

For those who don't know what we're talking about.

Some photo's I had on my computer of Colorfly C3 / C&C BH combo which members keep mentioning. The rig cost $200 to set up ($100 for C3) ($100 for C&C BH). It's damn straight too, H-200 sound really decent with this combo, I can take them a step further by using Colorfly CK4+ / C&C BH but something keeps calling me back to this little set up. There's something about mixing the synergy of C3's audiophile signature with C&C BH's presentation that creates a really fun involving experience, and enough features to throw a stick at.

Roy, sorry but they are NOT comparable. 1plus2 is in a league of its own and logically it costs more too.
all i can tell you NO miracle here, 1plus2 sounds just better as its price suggests.
the only comparison i can give you is: try listen to proper high-end rig with expensive components and compare this to very good HiFi.

H200 does amazing job for the price and has excellent synergies with C3 and BH but it canNOT beat 1plus2 in any respect. so you get what you pay for.

1plus2 is closer to analogue sounding rig and with good DAP can give you good shivers and amazing clarity and its bass can drop as deep as no H200 can.

For the record H20, I had a gun pointed at Gintaras' head when he typed that out.

Appreciate it.

I haven't followed whether the re-shell companies will do hybrids, but I'd be curious in how they'd turn out.

For the price you paid for 1plus2, maybe you should be putting a gun to your own head.

Where? I've never seen it that cheap.
