Shanling M3X Portable Player - Our smallest Android Player

As others have said, the software in the M3X is now ancient.

I'll add to the list of negative points:
- hardware buttons don't work in bluetooth receiver mode
- sometimes crashes when starting playback for the first time after boot

I looked at the m300. Does anyone know if it has bi-directional bluetooth, or only send? Can the internal speaker be disabled?
Pretty sure they don't support it, if they do it probably will be mentioned. I'm just gonna sending an email asking about that then.

but you do know where customers can get a replacement screen, right? or where they can have them replace it
Replacement screens can be ordered through Shanling distributors or from Linsoul:
https://www.linsoul.com/blogs/announcements/shanling-audio-repair-services-at-linsoul-audio

For replacing, we can either do it in our factory, some of our distributors also offer this service. Last option is exchange done by some phone repair shop or complete DIY.

We unfortunately don't have any manuals for such repairs.

Normally it's 35 USD for screen exchange + shipping back (around 40-50 USD, depending on location, Fedex/DHL)

I figured it out. My Wi-Fi connection at work blocked Shanling's website through the firewall. I did download the file, but it doesn't seem to want to install on my machine. I keep getting an error message with no explanation. I'll try OTA at home later.

The USB data connection is being erratic, keeps dropping connection. It hasn't been plugged in that often.

@Shanling - Thanks for your prompt reply. My earbuds don't appear in the list of devices in the first pairing step. Thanks

Please be certain that the TWS are in pairing mode. Maybe even do a full factory reset of the TWS and firstly pair them with the M3X.

Can you tell us what exact error is it giving you?
Did you simply copy the .zip file into internal memory?

I put the zip file in the root directory of the internal memory. It started the process then renooted. Then it just displayed the android logo robot with a red triangle error tag and the word error. Once I got home and on my wifi it successfully upgraded OTA.

Hello. I updated my M3X with the latest v1.75 update OTA. Now, my device won't play songs using a wired connection both in single-end or dual DAC enabled.

Tried using UAPP, Poweramp and Shanling player but no luck from it.

Also, Poweramp detects my Bluetooth connection as a wired connection. However, despite that it plays just normally with LDAC enabled. I am using a Sony WH-1000XM4 headphones. Can anybody help me out or have a solution for this? This made my device partially busted. I really wanted to listen songs through wired connection when I'm at home.

P.S. - My device has not been dropped, or anything that could potentially induce damage. Just a little information that I should add.
