BTW, my player has developed a weird effect. When the screen is off, none of the three buttons work. Regardless of mode - Android or Prime. Not in the Shanling Player nor in UAPP.

I could swear this was working yesterday, but I could be mistaken.

Now this cannot be by design. That would be downright stupid. Turning the screen on first just to make 'next track' to work.

This would be a HUGE deal breaker.

My apolgies...found it in the settings. I have no idea what changed it though.
I also managed to update the player OTA using server 2.

Yeah, Chinese web hosting is quite bad overall and we are facing a few issues with it.

Big part of it is Chinese society moving everything into apps and local social media, many local Chinese brands, newspaper or governments have absolutely horrible websites that look like from early 2000s.

This, has anyone tried it? If it works well, will be dealmaker for me.

We still trying to adjust the system to behave correctly with Roon's automatic resampling, but otherwise it works as it should.

Keep an eye on Easylounge.fr, they had it at 20% off a few weeks ago. The French sales period starts on the 11th, I bet they’ll discount it again. They have no stock though at the moment. I bought a DAP from them 2 years ago, it went smooth.

Here is an odd one.
To the left of the USB C port is a tiny blue LED and I noticed that one yesterday.

I fail to understand why it is ON 24/7 and what it actually indicates. ?
24/7 = even if the player has been powered off that LED is still on.

Yeah, it indicates a bug in the firmware, mostly after you play MQA file.

No, it indicates charging, Bluetooth codecs, currently playing sampling rate. Just the light being stuck after the device is powered down happens more likely with MQA playback.
