Looks amazing in the black finish. I'm torn between a crack + speedball and one of these. I do have a ton of 12au7 and 6sn7 tubes already for the crack though, so that might sway my purchase. The description of these two compared by another user makes me interested in both.

I'm not sure, though I really like the two tone look.  It's a different shade of silver than the aluminum knobs on my Vali 2 and the Magni 2 Uber.

I was going to upgrade this coming winter anyways with holiday bonuses and stuff.  But...if I buy now they will match!
 
I would absolutely without a doubt have to sell my Vibros.
 
EDIT:  Looks like a lot of black schiit is available.  Asgard, Lyr, Valhalla and Bifrost.

Well, I did it.  Will be selling several things, but I'm converted to the dark side.

I wouldn't upgrade to MB, I have a MB and when I heard the 4490 it sounded better to me, but as you say somewhere down the line if and when they have an upgrade then I might do that.

Just returned a defective iBasso D Zero mk2 DAC that nearly killed my HD650s with sudden burst of high frequency volume. This was at medium volume on the device. It blew my set of 100AAPs before that which i thought had just quit on me.
 
So my quest for a decent budget DAC continues. Circa £100. Probably just gonna buy the Alpen 2 and just hope it's an upgrade to my Fiio e10k. The e10k in bass boost mode helps, but I'm hoping for a DAC that can bring out bass better without using a bass boost, and if it has one then won't be as warm sounding as the e10k
