You guys just don't get it. Gold is a better material and more pure, thus making the gold player more pure and better. It should have a more pure sound etc etc. 

 If you read it on head-fi, it MUST be true.

Overall sonic differences between the two are......? Still curious about the QPR1.

The AK is more analytical and the QP1r more organic. Given they use the same DAC chip there are some similarities but those are the main things that grab me about them side by side,

Dang it Wata. You should know Silver is superior to Gold. Silver is more conductive and way more useful as a metal than gold is. Therefore, Silver is superior.

is there any comparison between the QP1R and Cowon Plenue 1? how does the two differ in sound signature and overall SQ? I have the Cowon and I love it so far but I'm still curious about how good the QP1R is or the QP1 if that's even on the same level with the Cowon.
