I would say it's not as good. But not by much if I'm honest. Blue has very good bass too. I run mine out of my ifi ican/ dsd pro combo.

I wonder if the blue can be fixed with EQ? I was gonna run them out of my RME which helps a lot for my TR-X00s. Is the blue bass as good as the red?

If you're a hardcore Fostex guy but need some EQ for various albums etc. then it is probably worth looking into the RME DAC. It has amazing parametric EQ and turns my Fostex TR-X00 into a really nice pair of cans for a lot of music I could otherwise not stand to listen to on them.

Man, I really want that green pair. Dammit, dammit, dammit!

I don't like this white color. It seems not match with color of headband and ear cup. This makes this version looks like a piece of cheap marble from my kitchen.
