Or the Lumia 1020 - 41 megapixels. Released in 2013.

Here is an image sample, and below it is a crop of the same image.

Before we get too analytical, remember - this was taken with a phone! Insanity.

That's crazy:xf_eek:

Congrats!

I had no idea?

Taken on an iPad Air. I love composing photographs with an iPad; it's such a different experience from peering through the viewfinder. It's quite liberating.

I've been taking a few pictures with my retina mini lately. I recommend getting Cortex Cam, which, if you can hold the camera steady, takes a bunch of shots and merges them into one, high-quality one. I know there is also a trend lately to do serious video with iPads, with proper tripod mounts available.

That 41MP Nokia -- I would guess many of the pixels are interpolated. If DxO mark is any indication, the best lens available only resolves 29MP (!) on the D800 (if you have $4k for the lens!).

Here's a Cortex Cam shot of my Nikon:

Finally got around to getting Photoshop on my GS4. Still getting used the the weird controls, editing process on a phone is so much more different than Lightroom on a PC...
