i used some mesh from a strainer i found at the dollar store. i just painted it black.

heres my headband. its not perfect but way more comfortable over the stock vinyl headband.

i used italian lambskin. the cushion is from some eggcart memory foam material i had laying around. the headband is 20mm wider than the stock headband. still smells like contact cement so ill air it out for a week or so.

The headband looks sweet!  The simple design fits with the headphone, and the lambskin's texture improves its appearance.

I figure that I can make my own headband with this stuff? link
Unless I can find something suitable around the house to use.  I had a leather belt that I could have used, but I made it into a suspension headband for the T50RP that I used to have.

Fitted my cups with some black mesh, kinda diggin' it! I threw a second pair of sr225i drivers in them that were just sitting around.

Also made up a locking adapter to go with it.

Hi everyone!

Here are the mods that i made to my Grado SR125i headphone :

- The aluminium gimballs are from Martin Custom Audio
- The headband leather is from Turbulent Labs
- The aluminum earcups are from Jaben
- The pair of Jumbo bowls come from Jaben too !

And i opened only two holes on the transducers.

Listening is absolutely in line with what I expected, ie balanced, sumptuous and not tiring, but pay attention to the weight of all !

Here are some pictures of the result:

That's all !

P.S. Sorry for the rough English, but school is so far ...
