So here's what I THOUGHT was going to be the Final Ultimate Doomsday version of my portable "Broccoli Rig". The big upgrade here is a glorious custom-re-jiggered palladium coated silver cable which costs over 4 times the price of the respectable Cardas copper cable I was using. This is the Opus IEM cable from Arctic Cables, which they had to make twisted instead of braided in order to physically fit with the teensy 2.5mm single entry plug of my Neumann NDH20 Black Edition. This cable, aside from being a big step forward in detail and clarity, improves the NDH20 enormously by virtually eliminating the previously heinous cable microphonics.
But: I've been talking recently to a fellow Headfier who has directly compared my usb C cable (the Luxury & Precision WP2) with some others, and he's found another flexible usb c cable he says is definitively, clearly better sounding! It's crazy how far this rig has come, and it's about to go further
