I'm skeptical about this one, as it looks like they changed nothing from the X1, except the color scheme. If Philips STILL hasn't addressed the pads being non-removable after ALL the complaints everywhere online, then they don't deserve a penny.
Those new drivers better give eargasms upon first listen at that ridiculously high price.

First: Where are you finding the X1 for $220?
Has anyone seen a confirmation that these new X2s use the same driver as the L2? Probably a reasonable bet, but just curious.
Philips really only need to do 2 things on the X2.
- Removable earpads.
- Tighten the bass just a little more.
Just 2 very simple things and they'll have one of the best $300 headphone ever (and if the trend follows, near $200 rather).
