Oppo PM-1: A New Planar Magnetic Headphone!

Whoa. The new Oppo N1 looks amazing. Almost starting to regret my decision of getting the Nokia Lumia 1020!

You're kidding me right?  lol

Z1, N1, S4 Zoom, G2, etc etc pale in comparison to the 1020.  They all of course have their novelties, 1020 is being more of a swiss knife rather than a specialty tool.

808 and N8 have the best cameras in a phone I have ever seen, perhaps the 1020 will get more features after the next update.  Using the lumia 822 as my 808 had poor lens calibration.  (Bought from a shady eBayer lol)

Please let it compete with the HE500 price...preferably something around $500-600, though knowing Oppo, I expect around $1000. Their stuff isn't cheap.

I hate the way companies are going with pricing though. Only Philips has been doing it right, with the X1.

First the new Fostex TOTL planar prototype now this? Definitely interested. These don't look high end or TOTL but more for the average crowd (with the matching pricetag), hopefully I'm not wrong.

Mild bass lift? **** yes.

I've been wanting a bass colored planar for ages.

We can only ask for the same linear bass planars we've been getting for the past few years. Good to see SOME new variation of sound on planars.

Aren't the new fostex planars just the old drivers but in a open configuration?

was word of being a modified version of the driver, to be confirmed sooner or later :)
