That's a bummer Wayne, Jp and I were hoping to recreate our trip to NYC before the NYC Annual Meet. I remember something about bars, females and tattoos.

You know the rule. First one to mention it gets the job. You lose.

...oh wait....you were talking about the "Watchdog Committee" comment.
C'mon Steve, you know you did an excellent job filling last year, and extraordinary job. One that was exemplary.

But, as Scaramanger would say (and Ozzie Ozbourne, too), "I (being Yikes), am number one. You (being you), are number twooooo".

So you call him a dog and I have to fight him?

gear list updated.

No, that's "first one to pick up the check, pays for it".
Also, "he who smelt it, dealt it".

I never heard the one about name tags, and I Wiki'd it and it's not there. As we all know, if it's on Wikipedia, it must be true.
If not, then it's not true.

You only have to fight him if you want to become #1, if you are perfectly happy being #2, then all is fine in Queens-ville.
You know the rule, if you aren't lead dog, you always have the other dog's butt, clearly blocking your view.

More interesting news, hot off the presses.

Steve Guttenberg, who writes high end audio reviews on CNET.com in a blog called "The Audiophiliac" will be attending our meet.

I've known Steve for a while now, and enjoy reading his column.

If we could get Wayne drunk period, the girls might not have to be so hot, with or without tattoos.

The tag rule's been around for years.

Count me in on this! This is going to be my first meet. I'm pretty new here and don't post too often but this is pretty hard to pass up.

I have a WA6 with the PDPS mod and stock tubes but I'm wondering if it would be worth while to bring given that WooAudio will be there...

Despite the large amount of things Woo brings, they still don't bring everything.

Beyerdynamic DT48

Anyone have an example of Beyer's DT48 to audition? This is a relatively rare bird that many, including myself, have not had an opportunity to hear. Either of the "A" or "E" (25ohm) varieties, new production or vintage, would be most welcome!
