What's the impedance and sensitivity?

Very much depending on final acoustic tuning.
Actual we work with 15 ohms and 96 dB SPL / mW.
But this values can change....

sorry for the late response!
The max. input power is estimated for the moment with 250mW. But this value is even more depending on the final acoustic tuning and the result after all life time and overload testing...
Therefore please nail me down at the moment for this value

Sounds like a fulla could power it no problem. Is balanced operation an option?

Yes, it can be connected ballanced as well.

Max SPL it can play at 20hz before it start to distort?

What I menstioned is peak SPL level for a certain musik example offering 10dB crest factor ovearall. Concrete "Road to hell Part 2 - Chris Rea.
This has nothing to do with 50 Hz continous or something similar....
 
Max SPL at 20Hz....: there is no standard to measure this, because it's not defined "start of distortion"...
 
But what I can say today is: The max SPL will be comparable with other high end headphones.

Hallo Mr.Renner, in about 1990 i was at hifi show in Wien, Shoping Centre. The Show was situated in Muster Houses and it was beautifull. AKG was presenting there in one room many sets of your K1000 with BAP1000 Pozessor. Maybe my best highend show. Did you was also there ? BR from Slovakia. DM.
