Thanks to

Jim ( The Cup Maker )
@JoeDoe
@7keys
@fleasbaby
@cCasper TFG - Now @PETEREK

So I decided to take the plunge and have a pair of SG's built for myself.
These are mainly for use on my main Hi-Fi so will be powered by a Rega Ear MKI.
As theres a bit of distance between my rack and my armchair I've gone with a 5 meter cable to be on the safe side.

The Cups are turned from Lignum Vitae which tonally is quite a "flat" wood.
As much as I love the lighter woods, I really love the dark richness of the LV!

The twist is I wanted them balanced, Firstly to work with my iBasso PB2 as for now its my only balanced Amp, But also
My other cans are terminated for this amp, So later when I get other balanced amps that may use the kobiconn or XLR terminations,
All I'll need are a few adaptor cables all with female hirose connectors.
So far I have a hirose to 1/4 inch and 1/8 inch adaptors.
I also like having the hirose connector as its smaller and weighs less.

I'll get more pics up as they go , But so far JoeDoe has sent me these before assembly....

What influenced them is the pair in the middle of the following picture -

Our good friend @cCasper TFG  Made this for me, He's dubbed it "THE MONSTER" due to its length.
Its a 5 meter Mogami W2893, Wrapped in Type 1 Parachord in a Litz Braid.
It utilises a ViaBlue Y Splitter that is a lot lighter than it looks.
Terminated in a 6 pin Hirose Connector ready for iBasso Balanced Amplifiers.
The Adaptor is also a One-Off, Its a Rean 1/4inch Jack With a female 6 pin Hirose retro-fitted inside the Rean's outer casing.

Cant wait to see this attached to my SG's.........

@JoeDoe The Assembly is flawless dude! They feel better made than my SR60's!
@fleasbaby Please send my thanks to Jim, The Cups are beautiful and even have a lovely smell haha!

I'm really chuffed and definitely a bargain with their price tag.
