Most basshead IEMs with the best bang for bucks
Feb 23, 2024 at 4:43 AM Post #16 of 38
FATfreq Scarlet Mini has the absolute most sub bass of any IEM on the planet currently and can be had for $640 for those with the patience to wait out the current order times.
Second this. I am not that crazy so I have a Maestro SE, but FF is the real deal when it comes to making heavy, clean sub-bass with a somewhat reasonably balanced mid-bass.

Xe6
first iem that i never had to say 'i 'd like more bass here and there' or" i'd wish for better bass"

first iem ( and heapdhone ..) that makes ' A Change Of Season' sound right , not light , not anemic in some of its parts , full and convincing

First iem that makes 'Focus' by Cynic sound like bass has some place and meaning ( like it shohld have had on production most likely ) without trying absurd eq combinations

Etc

How ..question was "basshead& best bang for bucks?"
Try KZ Zar at less then 50$ then tell me

I'm a huge Basshead and one product not IEM but TWS which really surprised me for great Sub-Bass quantity but especially extension are the Edifier NeoBuds Pro, i purchased a second pair for back up due to convenience!
IEM wise KBear Rosefinch is a really solid budget set and 7hrz Legato is great but not the best extension and not the last word in detail & resolution!
IMR IEM's are also solid especially the Dark Matter.
When it comes to more TOTL Monitors Penon 10th AE is phenomenal not necessarily Basshead in quantity but it's not far off and amazing quality.
XE6 is my dream IEM but to expensive so will never hear it let alone own it lol
I have wanted a basshead Tri-brid in the mid price range for a long time now and i think I've found it in the Alpha Omega RA i purchased recently?
No one has received there's yet and there is only one review on Headfi but it's really promising.
It's quite close to some Empire Ears monitors which can be seen in the FR Graph's below.
The white one is AO RA.
Really excited to receive mine👍

Kiwi Ears Quartet should definitely be on the list. It has efficient tuning switches. 110 usd

The Letshuoer S12 PRO has great bass, but might not be "basshead" level. 130 usd

The iKKO OH10 Obsidian are among my favourite bass heavy IEMs. Quite physically heavy, though.

The Simgot EA1000 have strong bass, and features very efficient tuning nozzles
