For popular music of the Middle East (aka West Asia) & North Africa in Arabic, Persian, Hebrew, Amharic (see note below), and other notable languages of the region.
This is not a genre (or genres) I know particularly well. But it's one I wouldn't mind getting to know a little better. Post as much as you want. But please put each video or audio track in a separate post to make thread navigation easier. And post only "official" content authorized or uploaded by the artists or their labels whenever possible.

Amharic is the lingua franca of Ethiopia and the Horn of Africa. So it could go here, or in the African & Afro-Caribbean vibes thread. Either is ok by me, and good arguments can probably be made for both.
There is also a separate thread for Turkish and other Turkic-speaking countries, called Popular music of Turkey, the Caucasus & Central Asia, which is why it's not included above.
