I shot an email over to Headroom inquiring about if they were going to sell them and Jorge Cervera wrote me back saying they were going to contact Koss ASAP about North American availability. I also am waiting to hear back from Koss myself. As a Portapro connoisseur since their debut in 1984 I really want a pair. Badly.

Hehe "connoisseur." The Koss 60ohm driver models will ALWAYS have a deep place in my heart. I've purchased 3x KSC-75s, wished I have a KSC-35, A SportaPro, and I've always wanted to try a PortaPro, and by golly these are the ones I'm getting!

*Wallet cries*

Hmm... I might give PortaPros a try when these anniversary ones come out...

Fingers crossed no more than $45. I can't really see myself paying more than that.

Sadly, that's going to be unlikely.

Quick conversion shows that that's about 86USD, in case anyone was too lazy to do that themselves.

I'd pay 86$ for'em and keep'em in box on the shelf.
Those things are gorgeous- in their own ugly way

A piece of retro legend, too, when it comes to portable phones. You emidiatly think of those silly walkman audio cassettes..
