So the lesson to be learned here is JH13Pros do not function well in a glass of iced tea. I think we're all just that tiny bit wiser.
7th week since my impressions were received and still counting... Now I'm feeling a bit dumb to have believed that their lead time would be "3-4 weeks for normal product lines" as announced. Going to punch myself in the face.

I know how you feel I had to wait two months to recieve my jh16's.
For what its worth, I ordered my 16s at the meet on the 22nd, and the arrived yesterday.
I did pay for rush processing which I'm sure helped, but communication via email was smooth and always quickly replied to. Surprised that people are having issues, but I did pay the extra for rush partially because I'm impatient, but mostly because I felt it guaranteed work being done even through tomd of work being done towards the Roxannes
It's ironic. I remember visiting a few threads here where the creators said customs were on their way out and high end universals would dominate. Now all of the Customs company threads I visit are full of messages about how backlogged said company is. Customs are obviously not becoming any less popular, likely they are more so.
IMO after owning and auditioning a few top flight universals, I still think that customs are the most cost-effective way to go when it comes to approaching uber sound quality. Top tier universals can give you that at the expense of a premium over what you'd pay for similarly performing customs. Of course there are factors at which universals would beat customs hands down, but for the majority of head-fiers like us who only want a pair of the best customs, those seem to hardly matter.
Still it does not change the fact that I could have gone with some other brands and get much better CS though.
