Incoming Solstice.
Bring on the heat and the smog.
Time to shave the beard.

Bearded, one still sweats
And yet, where does it all go?
Time to shave the beard.

Out come the aphids.
Six foot lumbering man-nest.
Time to shave the beard.

A fleeting lament.
It's time to shave off the beard.
Show people my face!

Be prepared for a shock! Had to shave off my goatee for my summer job, and man do I look like a doofus without it. Facial hair can really change the way you look.

hmmm, sounds like you are on a shaving kick. First patches on your chest, then your head and neck, now your face.... hmmm I don't even want to think about 'where's next...'

Seriously...there is no hair barrier, or "hairrier" as I like to call it, to keep the cooties at bay.

I do trim it two or three times a year.

Edit: Actually, I just trimmed it last week for the 2nd time this year. It went from 5 inches to 1 inch. I have to trim my mustache about once a month to keep from eating it. Also my wife is deaf, so she has to read my lips.

Keep the beard and dye it blue and save weird patterns in it like the gangster kids do to their head.

EDIT:

no do this:

I first started dating my wife 15 years ago, shortly after shaving my beard off. She couldn't understand why the skin was raw on her nose and chin. It was my five o'clock shadow. She gave me a choice, shave twice a day or grow the beard back. Easy choice.
