The Lotoo website is down wheen trying to access it from UK.
Anyone experienced this? Where one can get the latest firmware updates if the site will be done permanently? I am just concerned about future support for this music player.

Well I have all of the recent firmwares if anyone needs them. I suppose that we should not be expecting any further upgrades,

There is still a lotoo.jp site primarily hawking the titanium version of the LPG but there is no firmware there.

The Lotoo site, English version, has had a message "The website is unable to activate for the moment" for well over three weeks now, with subsequent text indicating that according to the filing requirements of China's Ministry of Industry and Information Technology (MIIT), the website is accessible only if the ICP information is accurate and the ICP license is filed.
 
Sounds like it is not waiting for a properly-reviewed English update, but instead is being made unavailable by requirements of MIIT.
 
Sounds like it could be a long spell...
 

 
I bet they snuck in the firmware upgrade long sought by @musicday and others to allow controlling transport without having to wake up the device with the on switch, and Lotoo doesn't want him to have it!

Someone here recommended contacting Lotoo directly and they emailed me the latest firmware updates in English for both the Paw Gold and he 5000.

What do you mean?  Being able to skip tracks forward and backward while the display is off?

Well i contacted them many months ago regarding those few issues and they addressed that with the latest firmware.Still why the website is down is a mystery for me and I and not convinced that new more firmware updates will come in the near future unless if it proves that I am wrong.
