I use tangzu TangSanCai tips for any iems that suffer from driver flex recently the Campfire Cascara had bad driver flex with all other types but the tangzu TangSanCai solved it for me.
I think I own them already and tried without success.. I can't remember if I got them with the Zetian WU or Princess Changle I bought..
It seems, in my case, to be far better with Comply Foam though some flex are still present when I lay down. I think I will have to look with the different nozzles available.
Howdy all
if i may be so bold as to briefly intrude,
I can highly recommend the Hidiz MP145 - 14.5mm Planar IEM
The reviews speak for themselves but they are sublime & if ya'll are looking for, or are interested in a well priced [pretty much perfectly tuned] planar
110% worth a looksee

I agree a fab Planar for the money also on the conversation the TRN Azure Dragon I like it even more. The Planar segment has come along nicely this year.
Different. Better overall IMO. Better voicing, balance, staging, imaging. Ace beats it hands down for bass quality, texture, and quantity. Ace is better in terms of "ambience" also.
What is the general consensus on the Dawn? With all the IMR models discussed in this thread it's hard to follow just one sometimes. We discovered the Dawn may or not be an actual Bob/IMR creation, is that right? There's a Chi-Fi version out there for $30? However, people who own one seem to be impressed with the Dawn nonetheless, correct? It's a pretty good sounding IEM in a tiny package, or am I wrong on that? Can someone give me the rundown on these please?
Hello,
The Dawn is a thick sounding non fatiguing little IEM with excellent bass and Midrange rendering and recessed treble. If you can find it discounted then go for it. It seems to be of chi-fi origin and some in this thread (my self included) have purchased the originals. Comparing them they look and sound identical. So don't pay 300 hundred for them but if you find a unit for say a hundred, they are definitely worth it soundwise.

Thank you @fablestruck. I actually did - IMR eBay after Bob announced the loyalty code works there now too. I had seen it when it came out and was intrigued because they were so different from the rest of the IMR catalog. But I don't buy headphones anymore So when I saw one for about $100 plus the 30% off I couldn't stop myself. Then I read about all the stuff that seems to be happening with IMR (again?), including the Dawn, unfulfilled orders, etc, and got sucked down that rabbit hole for a while. The IMR web site has 0 inventory now too. I suspect this will be my last IMR purchase so I'm hoping they sound great.
