Hi guys, anyone ever compare the DX80 vs DX90J ??
Would love to know the impression

well do you like musicality or technicality? Do you care about UI?

I had previously dx90, not j. DX90 is more analitical and more hiss free. Dx80 has better ui, more power output and sounds less ''digital''

With Firmware 1.4.2 My DX80 is still not working properly.
DX80 doesn't scan all my music and some music will even not play from folder.
After all this time and Firmware Updates DX80 is still not working as it should, I am very frustrated...

Have you tried a different card? I would also use the Batch Tool on the first page if you have a PC. I like it because it wipes the internal memory and does a clean install of the firmware when needed.

The  Batch Tool isn't working, I use Windows 10.
The Instruction says i have to press and hold the volume+ button to recognize DX80 in Batch Tool.
Dosen't work.
If i turn on the DX80 with the Power Button, it is recognized, but Firmware Update will not start.
 
I AM DONE with iBasso....

Try holding down the power button and volume+ at the same time.

1.4.2 worked for me. good job guys. is it just me or the soundstage moved further back? bigger and more layered.

My dx80 apparently die today, I was on 1.3.3, suddenly enters on a loop (on and off ) and the menu don’t appear. So I run de batch tool on W10, (2 times, the first time didn’t work) and update to 1.4.2.
I did notice more treble and soundstage on 1.4.2.  (using HD600)

wow guys thank you for the impression, just got my hands on DX80.
there's one DX90J in local market that's why i asked the impression of the DX90J.
 
however still looking for the HDPR 10, hear it once and really2 love it
