Had my unit sent back for repair, bought combo x5+e12a meanwhile, currently missing R10 sound. If only R10 had a good battery...

I have just received R10, at that time, there was empty battery so I charge it, then powered on, it was on. After 2 hours, I pushed the power button again, no response. Does anyone have a recommendation?

Have you tried the reset button? Mine is often glitchy and needs to be reset before turning on again.

People should avoid of heating R10 carelessly, I was charging the unit while accidentally put it on the bed  As the result, unit couldn't be turned on anymore, had it sent back, after repair, the note said: battery expands that push other parts inside causing malfunctioned....

Word of caution to HDPR10 users: if using in a tight pocket set a screen lock code. I didn't and mine went right up to full volume (pressure on the volume button) damaging my 1250 USD CIEMs. An expensive lesson to learn.

I'd love to hear about this as well; the firmware I have is a definite improvement, but I want to know whether it is worth further update. How does the iem version differ?

The IEM ver is more spacious and stage is more open, i don't know how NT6 sounds but if it's bright phone, you might not like this firmware
 
@Wondering if anyone here have tried to drive R10 with ortho LCD2, HE-500, HE-560. Since i'm planning to get HE-560, i need it to know if R10 can give a good job driving it.

How would I install this over the original and would it be easy to uninstall and revert back to the first russian firmware?

I like the description of it being spacious, but not sure if I want the sound to be brighter.
