Hifiman HE1000 Planar Dynamic Headphone
That's unfortunate.HE1000 V2- out of stock at hifiman
As of yesterday--there were a couple of pre-owned units on the F/S forum.
Bought my HE1000v2 BNIB in '18 and have been enjoying it since.
I've tried, and let a good share of headphones go (including Susvara) but never even thought of letting my v2 go.

ditto for my HE1000 v1, driven by the HiFiMan EF-6 amp. Still my best!
Is the V1 the warmest (thickest) sounding of all the HE1000's and the v2 non- stealth the second?

I have a V1 and I would definitely call it warm, but it has been a really long time since I heard a V2, however, I have the V2 pads on mine to be extra confusing. Is the V1 the warmest (thickest) sounding of all the HE1000's and the v2 non- stealth the second?

THIN???????This is the V2 non stealth?
Is the HE1000 V2 non stealth considered fuller sounding than the other HE1000 models? I dound the HE1000 stealth technically stunning- but thin...
What amplifier were you using?

Ultimately, if you feel that this is true, that is all that really matters.I am just sharing my experience......
For example, cables and interconnects and power cables didn't make any difference using the hd6xx.
Using the he1000se, any change in my audiochain made an audible difference. Amp and DAC being the biggest difference compare to cables and interconnects.
I have tried the HE1000SE and to my ears it is to thin sounding- although superb in every other way. I was hoping the v2 non stealth would give me some more weight in the delivery.THIN???????

V2 is also thin sounding to my ear especially with analytical amps like A90D, with my V550 is bit better as V550 is *very slightly* warm leaning, but I still don't like some rock / metal with V2, it is bit sibilant too for some poorly recorded music, but I *vastly* liked the SE overall as it has more balanced sound and fuller sounding with my chain, and even thought it is overall brighter than V2 but stragenly sibilance is way less.I have tried the HE1000 stealth and to my ears it is to thin sounding- although superb in every other way. Fear Inoculum on these is insanity.
is the V3 the most bass boosted, most lush of all the HE1000's?

All I can say is there is plenty of bass and it's veeeeery well controlled.

I thought the nomenclature and release order was:is the V3 the most bass boosted, most lush of all the HE1000's?
v1 - it's been a long time, but I recall it has having the least bass impact of the 4, and being the most crystalline/light in body
v2 - warmest, biggest soundstage (but too big) all 4 are too big vs actual stage size - easily seen on small scale works
SE - brighter than v2 and Stealth. and perhaps because of that - most defined sounding
Stealth - closest to Harman, best bass dynamics under 100 Hz of the 4 (but still no match for any HE-6 - esp 6 screw), my choice for best value

The HE1000 Stealth literally punches & slams. That is also coming from somebody has previously owned the IER Z1R for 2 & a half years before selling.is the V3 the most bass boosted, most lush of all the HE1000's?

The SE stands out from the others, and has a presentation (holographic) that none of the other eggs have. For me, no treble fatigue. They all need their break in.I thought the nomenclature and release order was:
