I was volunteering in the parking lot at church and a guy came walking through with a pair of Grados, I stopped him to ask him about them, they were SR225i's.  He was in town visiting from CA.

Last semester I had class with a kid who wore the Beats studios everywhere he went (he stored them in his over-sized Prada purse)... I wanted to tell him he wasted his money but it looked like he had some to throw around. I also saw a lot of white ipod phones and skullcandy ink'd because that's what the school sells. There was one guy who wore some (i think) stanton DJ Pro2000s. This semester I will be wearing my mdr-v700s to class.

Actually, I saw myself wearing the tiny audio shop's RS-2s just for the hell of it, so those were the best I've seen worn here

i have the best headphones in my school. i walk around with my shure srh750dj headphones. i havnt seen any serious headphones in my school. lots of beats and skullcandies and most of all ibuds.

best i see is beats and maybe some bose in ears at my school stupid rich kids! my roommate got some bose for christmas and today i showed him my q40s. he was surprised they crushed his bose's quality, but he was even more surprised when i told him their msrp was exactly half the bose and i got them for half that price!

ya the ones at my school you can tell are spoiled. they show it in their attitudes and the way they could care less about there things. i have seen atleast 9 pairs of beats in my school. and 1 bose over ear headphone. out of 1700 students thats alot of rich kids. then again i live in kelowna nad its mainly made for the rich. its rediculously expensive here. i may be the only one in that school who appreciates high end audio. my headphones are worth the same as the beats well the solos anyway but they sound much better. and i had to buy them with my own money.

I saw some kid skateboarding listening to the beats. I thought that was kind of odd figuring how much the beats cost and how likely he would be to fall and break them.

this semester im making a special note to find someone at my college that is into hi-fi headphones like i. i have the best chance i guess since im in the engineering school most of the time and everyones rich.

I just looked these up... How can anyone pay $50 for a headphone which has a frequency response of only 500hz - 20khz.... like really tho, that's throwing a HP filter on every song you listen to. It's like selling a house without a foundation!
