And out of curiosity which on-ear portable has this "wide soundstage" that you prefer?

Add M80, ESW9, and T50p to that.
Well, as far as having a wider soundstage than HD25.

Just got the hd25's yesterday and Im really enjoying them. The only gripe i have is the cable being on the right side instead of the left. Is there any way to reverse that without switching the audio channels? I was thinking of either soldering a new plug and fliping the channels or a recable, but are there any other options?

Got these the day after Amazon's sale (which I didnt expect, since I checked out with 2 day shipping).
Really nice sounding headphones for the price.
@5370H55V - Give it a couple of weeks before you think of recabling, since for me too I never had right single sided cables too. It was awkward & annoying at first but I'm getting used to it.

Got these the day after the Amazon sale (which was fantastic, since I don't even have Prime anymore... shipped from Nashua, NH so that's why it was so quick). I still haven't opened them yet, but I've owned them before. I might consider trading them for something else, since I'm not sure I'll use them but they were so cheap I couldn't resist. Any good supraural headphones around this price? Maybe the MS400?

If you use an amp, you can try making a reverse LOD cable. I have the Fiio L11 LOD which has a jack for my short interconnect. I made a reverse interconnect between the L11 and the amp for a pair of headphones that I liked wearing "backwards" for comfort reasons.
i would say DT1350 :wink_face:
This is why you have both of them...

I ordered this case from this seller on Ebay;

My HD 25-1-ii fit fine and the transaction with this seller was painless. I got it about a year ago. It's a little big but it certainly gets the job done for me.

hello everyone, i'm late to the party as i've only just gotten myself a HD-25.
i got it on ebay for half the price it retails here in my country, new and sealed...just one problem:
the seller advertised it as the HD 25-1 II whereas now that i'm looking at it, it says HD 25 II on the earcup and also comes with a 2m straight jack.
am i correct to say that the only difference between the HD 25-1 II and the HD 25 II is that the -1 comes with a right angled jack? no difference in the other parts and SQ etc?
the print on the left ear cup also says "HD 25 II 70ohm" with no Sennheiser logo like the ones i've seen in the many images of this headphone...is this an old model or something? did i get myself into a big scam (overpaid) or just a small tiny one (false description)?
