Very, very nice!An updated Cocobolo family photo… this RS1x is my own. Three quite different tonalities, and, interestingly, quite different shades of color as well.

It is quite the interesting design and excels at pluming deep, detailed bass due to all the technology employed to rid the sound of any resonances. Glad to hear from someone who knows the arm. I was working at a good shop in NYC at the time and the arm was not being brought in from Japan. We had an overseas pilot who was both a customer & friend. Every time he flew to Japan he would buy one and fly it back to us. So for quite a time we were the only audio shop in the U.S. that had them for sale. Those Dynavector arms are extremely heavy. I wonder if the LP12 like turntable has a suspended sub-chassis and will it take that weight? I'm sure you have already addressed this.
I remember those arms back in the 80s when I was using turntables myself. The Dynavector is quite a marvel of engineering. I think if I was creating a turntable today it might be something like the classic Denon direct drive motor unit mounted in a heavy wooden plinth with a Dynavector arm.
Back in the 80s I had a friend who had the Dynavector arm mounted on a JBE turntable. I remember that it was a wonderful sounding thing. It had a really big and kind of magnificent soundstage. I can't remember what cartridge he was using. It is quite the interesting design and excels at pluming deep, detailed bass due to all the technology employed to rid the sound of any resonances. There is enough adjustability on most of the 3 point sub chassis tables to compensate. My table was the top model from Aniston and the spring adjustment was no issue.
I also have an Aniston Q deck model with a Grado Sonata (wood body) that I really should Post an AD for in the Classified. Allow someone to add some tasty analog to their listening pleasure. Nice combo at a reasonable price.
Too bad, that would have been interesting to know. At the time I had quite an array of different cartridges (the better to know them). Grado phono cartridges were (and are) very popular and were known to deliver a really good midrange, sound natural and were all very good values. Values that carried over to their headphone series.Back in the 80s I had a friend who had the Dynavector arm mounted on a JBE turntable. I remember that it was a wonderful sounding thing. good to hear - I thought initially, it was you who put your GH2 on the classifiedTook out my GH2s tonight and I’m really enjoying them. Such a good HP.
It does indeed! Use it everyday with my Grados and I think they pair well.Anyone tried the Earman Angel? It sounds really good !

"I" made a song about Grado fans with AI. Enjoy
Fortunately my credits are used up now or i would spend all night trying different styles.
Those lyrics btw are written by me, the stuff the AI comes up with is awful.
Edit: Assuming same pads on each:I was wondering how the sound character of the 325x differs from the RS2x (and what is similar)
I have both:I recently purchased the 325x and am really enjoying it. It's a keeper. But as someone who likes a variety of sounds (I used to have seven pairs of speakers I would switch out but headphones are a lot easier to do that with!), I was wondering how the sound character of the 325x differs from the RS2x (and what is similar). I like the Grado sound but wonder if there is enough difference between these two models to warrant having them both. Thanks in advance!
Online meetings hmm maybe grado should release special edition of grado rs2x with mic and I will use it for my work purposeI have both:
RS2x for vocals, jazz, acoustic, and online meetings. Bigger soundstage and clarity.
SR325x for rock, bass, feeling and tapping to the music.
