I am trying to figure out why wireless mics connected to a MiPro - to - Yamaha soundboard via Dante turn off after a few minutes, sometimes returning to use in 30 sec or so but sometimes never.
I see that they use a Netgear model 108P gigabit ethernet switch, which is an “unmanaged” Green EEE switch (that is, energy efficient).
It turns out that Dante cautions against using EEE Ethernet switches unless you turn EEE off, which this switch does not allow.
So my question: Do you know of an unmanaged gigabit Ethernet switch of 8 channels that works with Dante? What switch do you use?
