As the first two posts of the thread have been outdated for some time, I've updated both posts for the most up-to-date, relevant information (except for the list of members impressions and reviews, there are too many to organize).

The problem with ALO is "Product is not currently available", which is (I think) what the poster was getting at.

Send the email to them. Most of the Fitear models are always "out of stock" because the demand is so high and they can't make it fast enough. There is a long waiting list for them even here in japan. You have to remember that Fitear is just a small company and every pair of their earphone is handmade.

Actually (and I don't know if this still applies) but back in Feb, Suyama-san did mention to me that if people mail to him to mail in Japanese. I have a feeling there are very few bilingual staff members who will receive that e-mail.

He also left a message for me for Head-Fi: "Thank you for your support. If you do mail to us, please mail in Japanese".

 
Any reason why you're not mailing ALO directly on asking when they'll get shipment?

I though that he is going to send ALO an email not directly to Fitear.
 
Fitear can't do anything since they channelled all they universal products through dealer. I wonder how many units they can produce in a week now.

in any case, +1 for contacting Suyama san in japanese when in need. he's uber pro @googletranslate but much is "lost in translation" and it's not like he will bother doing it for every spam mail.
so go watch some japanimes to learn the basics right now!!!!!! gomu gomu no 334!!! fitear no jutsu !!!!!! (I'm fluent)

This is where I bought mine and Dimitri who is the owner is a pleasure to deal with.

 
Did the price go up?  I recall that cable was more like $250 than $600.
