with as much as i love Beyer's sound i really want a pair of these.
they look  very nice.  and with a much more attainable price tag than the T1

Poop. Forgot to take that picture. And sent back the phones to Beyer. Will have the 250ohm soon and will take a picture of that. It is basically a foam circular pad that is glued to the back of the cup.
 


 

That is a shame. I was hoping you would have both models at the same time and tell us a bit about the differences

They are sending both back to me once the 250ohm is available. They wanted to pass the T70p around while there was a wait.

As much as I want to take Alghazanth's delicious LA7000, the $1599 price offering (while cheap) is not on the "finance director's" approval list currently.

 
The T70 MAY be right up my alley... Hoping to hear more impressions.

Have you received the T70P/T70 Drew? Please advise accordingly re impressions. I am waiting to see how these can compare with the Denon D2000/D5000 as I'm close to considering the Denons (unless of course the T70 sounds impressive)

well the DT770Pro line has a higher clamping force according to their website( 3.3N?) so it should feel  slightly better.
