Would I get a feel for the A83s sound sig by buying these... can get them pretty cheap second hand?

I LOVE my Dunu 1000s, so the A83s would probably be my next big purchase for something different... well, them or one of the Phantoms range from TA :)

Nothing alike - I reviewed them.

Back then I was a little more lenient with my grading. Today I would only give them 2.5 or at most 3/5

Got a Pair 2 days ago. They are very "vocal-centric". I am listening to Lorde trough them for hours and it's just beautiful and intimate. Subbas and extended highs are there when you crank it up but i think that's not the point of these. They also fit nice with electronica if you are not looking for monstrous Subbass. They are laid back but fast. In comparison to my other Multidynamics the ADL E008 the Fidues are not as transparent but nicer to female vocals and easier to wear. For my the only downside is the Memorywire
as i had to apply some glue to the strain relief as i damaged it by yanking on the wire to get a decent fit.

Having much more expensive IEMs now, I still use this (old version) to play PS4, watch TV and movies when I can't make much noise. Or even when I can. Connected to an Hifime 9018 optical DAC from the TV.

JVC Spiral Dot tips clears up the sound significantly (people complaining about mid bass...). Well, I still like it, and for this kind of use, I don't feel necessity of upgrading.

This is kind of curious: I got interested in the new Ti version, but not in getting an upper class IEM. I just really like this recipe, I guess. Mids are very important in this kind of use. Well, this reminded me to try my Earsonics SM64, now that they are getting few attention (use).

BTW, anyone made or read a comparison between the Ti and old version? Or any place I can read one?

PS: I took out the memory wire in the first day. After all this time, I still use this at least one hour a day, many times more than that.
