  After you updated the new firmware deleta the image file inside your DX90's internal memory.
The DX90 doesn't need it anymore since you have already updated the firmware.

i see - if i don't delete it , will it be problematic ? i just got the dx90 and i replaced the V2.1.0 img. with the lurker 2.1.0

if i simply leave it , will there be a problem ?
 
 
also , when i check the system info , after updating to the lurker 2.10 , i get a v.2.1.0 sign in the info department 

is this normal ? the lurker v.2.1.0 will seem as 2.1.0 as well ?

I don't know if it will be problematic... Delete it so you can be sure it'll be fine.
As to the Lurker-Look at the model number and you will see L1/L2 next to the DX90.
Do you have the link to the 2.10 Lurker? I didn't find it. I think i'll try it out. Do you prefer it over 2.1.5?

i haven't tried the lurker 2.1.5 yet , i just installed the 2.1.0 version ( i did a scan/factory reset as well)
 
as for the link it should be on page 1 , i had downloaded some days ago the update.zip and saved it in my PC and simple copied it inside the DX90 folder

thanks for all the info regarding embedding artwork.  Not happy with how itunes does it, but having done some more searching I came across this incredible script that actually re-embeds all the artwork from itunes.  It takes the artwork that is currently separated from the file and actually embeds it into the file, with no work on my part except for selecting all my songs and running the script.  It is amazing and was the easiest way to do it.  It took me less than a minute to run it and it just does it on its own.

What is the firmware with the biggest soundstage? And does the firmware affect the sound when i am using the DX90 as a USB DAC with my computer?
Also, Can you all please report what is the delay time you are getting with the DX90 as a DAC? I need to set my media player to -187ms and people here said the delay time is 0.5s. Did i get a Super DX90 pro+?
Also the difference between my PC and the DX90 using my M40X isn't big as people have already said, But i feel it is more energetic, present and a bit more aggressive with the DX90. Do you feel the same way? And do you find the difference great with you cans?

2.1.5 L2 is best (at everything). Can people stop asking which firmware is best or how it sounds like. Either see for your self, or understand that the latest custom firmware is the best and be done with it!

LoL. Yes, it is very fine. I am enjoying the DX90 right now with some great high res classical. Large soundstage, dynamic and a wonderful bass foundation. And I have many daps to choose from.

Hmmm. Font is the letters and numbers that make up the text on the screen. But then again the Lurker fw comes in versions with the stock font and a different font. What fw is on your device is the one you put there on did the update with
