It works very well and opens up the 650. I don't enjoy the HD650 single ended and for me, discovered that they are a totally different headphone when balanced.
I asked them about this the other day. They said in the next FW after one they had coming out but for me (so I guess that means the next one), I don't really notice it. Had some delay on the Sony WM1Z before the last update and didn't mind it but it all gets fixed it seems.
UPDATE: On March 1st a new firmware was released to address the most pressing issues:
Improvements with this firmware:
1. Touch panel sensitivity adjusted.
I can definitely notice this as someone who had a good unit.
Can the DX200 be used as a DAC/headphone amp for an iPhone 7? If yes, does it need the camera connection kit? If no, will this feature be added via firmware? Thanks

I tried it and it worked with the camera adapter. However the iPhone volume controls the ibasso volume and doesn't work properly, there's something weird going on there.

My bad unit is not fixed (still ghost taps).
My good unit is now much more difficult to control though. Needs a lot of pressure and sometimes it requires multiple attempts. For me this touch panel sensitivity adjustment is not welcome, I strongly prefer the previous state. Can we make it switchable Paul?
@Paul - iBasso any news on when it will be back in stock? Would like to buy direct since I don't need any of the extra accessories in the bundle that's an additional $100
Edit: the iBasso website still shows a price of $9869 USD
1. Nope, unless you reset factory
2. I am not Paul, but my point of view is it is just recommendation. I just have done it in case only there is strange behavior after new rom is installed.
