Nunslaughter's new EP "Black" has some packaging that is cool enough that i feel the concept was wasted by using it for a short EP

the artwork is all on black paper printed in black ink and the CD has a black read surface

the regular 7" version has the same black ink on black paper printing and the record is black vinyl with no label

then there's the "die hard" edition limited to 100 copies on clear vinyl in a handmade jacket with torn bible pages glued to cardboard

i would have loved to have seen them save this for a full length album

That is just wrong on so many levels . .
What would you say the ratio of hair-to-head is of the girl on the left?
.

Your right, it is wrong on so many levels, that's why I love it... I'm not even sure they're girls!

Great stuff here. Check out the badboy cans !

I have this on Vinyl and CD.. Great album!! Mick Abrahams played guitar on the first Tull album called "This Was" in1968. He left the band and formed Blodwyn Pig

I don't think I have! I've found that Toumani's albums are bit hard to find in Canada for reasonable prices.

I have:

Kulanjan (w/ Taj Mahal)
The Mande Variations
SongHai 1 & 2(w/ Danny Thompson & Ketama)
Mali Music (w/ Afel Bocoum, Damon Albarn & Friends)
Boulevard de l'Indepandance
Malicool (w/ Rosswell Rudd)

All beautiful and very unique sounding albums.

You are so correct. Brings back memories. Thought I'd fire it up. Listening to the Change Song right now.

There were many great album covers from that era. I'd post my British release of Electric Ladyland, but that'd probably go over like a Led Zeppelin.

So let's just go with this really cool cover:

Oh, i also put up Night is the New Day by Katatonia, though not just for the art, though awesome, the whole package is just too cool, ive never seen a case that awesome before, and the print on the top of the cd is equally as awesome as the cover art

One of my favorite albums

I'd love to put this up in my office. It would cut down on the questions.

me too, and the more i listen to it, the more i like it, its definitely one of the best cd's released last year. It took me a while to get into it, but ive found the longer it takes to get into a band/cd the more youll like it, and the longer you'll listen to it
