Wow, it looks so solid and awesome TBH. Are they using that iMac to feed the DAC via USB? What software were they using, HQ Player?

Vox player is what they used.

This year's canjam took toll on my wallet but at least this time I'm really really satisfied on what I have purchased ! :D

Oh right, where can I get my canjam badge? Thank you.

the he edition 6 is actually 5,999 wow!!! thats almost 10x the price of the old he 6

That math is incorrect. From my memory the HE-6 was around 1300$ at launch.

Same here. Do we get a Canjam badge if we bought tickets at the door?

Got to listen to the Shangri-La two days before CanJam Singpore over at AV One as Hifiman was having a small demo session

Have to say it is one of the least electroststatic-like electroststatic headphone I have ever heard outside of the new Orpheus. The bottom end really comes out more like a dynamic (in a very good way).

Pictures below were all taken on early day one, before the crowd came in.

Demo'ed the 1MORE quad driver IEM. For the price it is quite good, but ultimately having more drivers is not a guarantee for great sound.

Cayin brought their new N3 to the show, and it is surprisingly clean sounding. It is however a bit plasticky, but it is also very light. The only real downside is the control being a little unresponsive. Given it is only just launched, hopefully they will improve the firmware down the road.

Tried RHA's new IEM, though I think I still like my T20 a bit more.

Crosszone CZ-1 has a kind of audio crossfeed built into the headphone that actually works very well.

The new micro iDSD BL is a good upgrade over the original micro iDSD, especially how the new headphone-amp section is tuned. The Holographic 3D+ is however a little too intrusive though.

Tried oBravo latest IEM line-up and they seems to have gotten better than what I remember from last year CanJam. Still, they are too expensive compared to many CIEM in the show for what they do.

Tried the latest rendition of EchoBox Explorer and it sounds as refined as I remembered from last year. It should be ready for launch soon. Their new IEM, the Nomad N1 and Traveller T1 are excellent as well.

The A18 is probably one of the more organic multi-drivers IEM I have ever heard.

CJSG17-39.jpg

The new GR07x (otherwise known as the GR09) is a good upgrade over the original GR07. It retains the same signature but more refined.

Tried the new HA-2 SE and it is indeed an upgrade over my old HA-2. Smoother and more musical overall.

I've added them to your profiles.

If anyone else is missing a badge and would like one please send me a PM rather than posting here.
