It has really good build quality. Overall it is warm and smooth sounding. Great for Pop, Rock, and music with vocal as it has a well textured and detailed mid range. Bass will only comes out if you have a really good fit, still it doesn't go very deep. Treble extension is a bit smooth, so there isn't a lot of sparkle at the top. As with most earphone with good mid, soundstage is kind of weak. I don't see it as a good earbud for Classical or instrumental music. I paid about $70 on Amazon Japan and think it is quite a good price for its sound.

Don't have the ANV3se, but I can say the ANV3 is still a better earbud.

I'm curious about that one, but when I look at ClieOS opinion, they don't seem to be for me, since I like an expansive soundstage... Still, about 2 weeks ago, I was just a second or two from buying them...

i.e .are they exactly the same, tuned differently or are the Blox earphones just using the same housing? The specs seem identical.

I have a pair of the BI3 as they were given to the 1st 60 customers who bought the ANV3.
 
Woo had mentioned that they are his headphones but are licensed to another company.  
 
The brief times I have used them, I did not think much of them. IMO they do not compare to Blox's earbuds, although I will say the bass is quite impressive, and nice detachable cable.
