i never updated it. that was what came with the dac. so you never experienced drops in the digital signal lock whatsoever? You have FW more updated than mine.
Have BULLET FPGA: 1.53 Control: 2.76 and Display: 1.19
Need to ask support: contact@audiobyte.net
Thank you! Email sent to Audiobyte. Will let you know their response.Yes. With that FW of mine, thru Singxer SU-6 (I2S/HDMI, SPDIF, AES) or with the HUB (HDMI)
Hi Michael,Nicolae responded...
Hello Michael,
latest VOX firmware versions are related to different hardware (fpga type). During pandemic regular model was not available and we were forced to use alternatives.
The drops he has, most likely there is a EMI/RFI interference around his setup. VOX is quite sensitive on spdif input.
Should not be related to firmware.
A shorter or better spdif cable will help. Same on I2S. To be sure, USB should be checked - my guess: no drops there.
Best Regards,
Nicolae
i would look at the Rockna wavelight serverHello everyone and Merry Christmas and New Year.
I wanted to give myself a Christmas present and as I haven't bought the Hub for my Vox and Zap I would like to know if it is a good idea to consider the new Super Hub.
Has anyone heard and above all would it be a good choice to stay in the Audiobyte house?
Thanks for a kind reply.
