well if someone can somehow make the gs3 output 24/192 and the cypher labs people make the -db compatible with the gs3 then you will have an unstoppable portable rig
Most portable amps require a mini USB, no? In which a micro USB will not work. Leckerton uses micro USB, so the hakshop cable should work just fine in that example.

Perhaps someone more knowledgeable than me on this thread can suggest a workaround.
As you said, a gs3 (or gn2) + -db would make for a great portable rig and IMO a good 'almost(?)-on-par' alternative to the dx100 (when paired with the alo mk3 amp).
