I too drive a car with no cupholders. You could always get one of these: http://www.amazon.com/Custom-Accessories-91100-Black-Holder/dp/B001DKRKGS/ref=sr_1_5?ie=UTF8&qid=1355549355&sr=8-5&keywords=cup+holders

You a funny funny man you.

Maybe he could get one of these from Lotus and have it attached somehow:

Do I even want to know what that costs? I'm guessing somewhere between "a lot" and "lol" to be honest.

EDIT

Found this:

Seriously I don't think you'll do much better. I don't see AM mentioned, but I think he's got at least half of the cars on their "approved vehicles" list (many of which I assume themselves lack cupholders), and it's only $30. The most recent picture of the AM makes me think it probably would fit, or would fit with a bit of ingenuity too.

Have no idea.  Not even sure it's sold separately TBH.  But it's an available option on an Exige.

Found one! Attaches to the vent. Gonna get a few for the other cars too.

Won't that like...(to quote Bart Simpson) "bend the heck out of it"?
Also this looks like a cheaper version of the Ultimate Cupholder:
http://www.amazon.com/Rubberqueen-51216-Cup-N-Can-Holder-Charcoal/dp/B0009N0W24/ref=pd_rhf_dp_s_cp_2
And comes from actual Amazon. And yes I'm leery of things that hang from vents.

Yeah, I like those more, I'll get a few of them instead. :)

I "get" the beauty of cars like the 250 GTO - and I also get how important those cars are to the history of sports cars and automobiles in general. Are they worth megamillions? Who knows - clearly they are to those that buy them - and I don't think we mere mortals can judge the "value" of purchases like that - no matter what it is. We would say the same thing about purchasing a Cezanne, Pollack or Picaso for hundreds of millions of dollars, or paying $200,000 for a pigeon...

This, all of it. It bothers me too. I don't own any garage queens (or $1M cars, for that matter), I drive all mine. Maybe some more than others, but you get what I'm saying. Most owners of rare cars only think of them as investments, because let's face it, the people buying them are wealthy investors. However, my stance is, and always will be, that the true beauty of them is in driving, not letting them rot in a garage. People gripe about Chris Evans driving his $16M Ferrari Cali SWB around the neighborhood on the weekends, risking it being damaged, but I say gods bless him for it. He's much more of a collector and enthusiast than the cowards in the hobby.
Although I won't be getting a GTS Daytona, I will have a GTB (and F40), and you can bet it'll be driven regularly.

Am I the only one that upon initially reading this post, thought that Magick was referring to this fellow? lol

Nope, that's what I thought too!  I just dismissed it because, you know, different strokes for different folks and all...

I use two of those in my E39.  Great cupholder.  Best thing is that it is resizable merely by squeezing it.  It'll fit anything from a standard soda can to one of those ridiculous 64oz 7-11 Big Gulp jobs.  Worth every penny.

Hey I rather like that one... especially the stainless steel and black one.

How much weight does the typical vent blade support?

The ultimate cup holder guys have a page where they compare their product to a bunch of others, including the Rubber Queen. Some of the comments are kind of amusing.

Their beauty is in their simplicity and clean lines. Although I do believe that 20-50M is kind of crazy for a car, it's no worse than 120M for a painting by van Gogh.

I didn't even think about him until you mentioned him. lol

I just searched for "Chris Evans" plus the name of the car, and found an Autoblog post about it and pictures. :xf_eek: The guy (according to Wikipedia) is not some multi-billionaire either.
On the cupholders thing, that "Rubbberqueen" one seemed like it'd be the same idea as Ultimate Cupholder; thrak - thoughts?

Evans isn't hugely wealthy, a large chunk of his money is actually tied up in his cars. Which isn't a bad investment, since most appreciate 10-15% /yr.
