That's a great review, thanks for linking. I also did not know this site yet.
 
The reviewer states he thinks the Monk+ is darker, has better soundstage and superior bass to the old Monk. He says it's a great all-rounder with no weak points.
 
Can't wait for my Monk+ to get here to compare them.

YOu can still order the orginal Monk? I thought VE only sell the Monk+ now?

Yea but think about it, let say 30 or 40 years from now, who knows if Lee is still in the business or not, or he might be retired, who will give you the life time warranty by then

Just pulled the trigger on a couple pair of Monk+.  Looks like Aliexpress is sold out of the expansion pack (didn't want it anyway).  I'm still using my first pair of original Monks and have a couple more that are still new in the package.  Oh well, can't wait to compare them.

Lee has not said they are sold out here or on Facebook.  I just order a couple pair and it was showing 521 pieces left.  Lee did say on facebook that due to the volume of orders, shipping is slow and apologizes for that.  You get your money back if it doesn't ship within the window, so you are safe either way (although it would suck if they didn't ship).
