It really depends on what you are looking for. If you want smooth and relaxed sound, hd598 is likely the best choice amongst the ones I've reviewes.

Guess I made a bad decision buying the m50x?

Almost a month after using it and its the best phones I ever had (besides my Bose AE2 which I lost as soon as I got it)
I found its too big and covering almost 50% of my face. Since my head is small, it put pressure on the top of my head and making it hard to wear it a few hours straight...so should I sell it and get another one?

Hmm... that totally depends on what you want. So are you looking for a smaller headphone with better comfort?

Yup, a headphone that wont make my head sore after an hour of using it. (that means a light-weight hp) :p

What kind of sound do you want?

Light and easy on your head would be something like K550, ESW9A, MDR-1R(my best recommendation), or iems. Sorry I didn't list anything reviewed, but I'm assuming you want a closed back headphone.

If it doesn't work for you, it's not going to work. I say you should sell the M50x and go for a more comfy one.

MDR-1R seems like a good option since I listen to a lot of female vocal songs. I'm planning to get an iem later too for portable use. oh...I have more headphone choices now :p

I find it hard to sell my m50x...(selling at around $150-$160)
