Dunno if any of you other peeps care, but Dreamfall Chapters just released. Good ****** god man. Between this and the Sleater-Kinney reunion, I am on ****** Cloud-9. I believe The Woods and Dreamfall even released close to one another so it's all the more crazy.
Anywho, I'd second the Aurisonics Rockets recommendation. Unless you favor some obvious degree of coloration to your phones, I feel that the Rockets is at the threshold where diminishing returns is felt quite steeply.
I think I saw some other DAC that used FGPA as well. I can't recall what it was though... Maybe the Yggdrasil?

Why do people care if a DAC uses a FPGA to do something? They could have gotten enough money to start printing their own IC chip then no one would care?
