So I'm in the market for a laser engraver, and they're not cheap.
 
Just got a quote on a machine from the Australian distributor for $19,600, but they sell for around $8,000 in the states. They have universal power supplies too, so I can't fathom why it costs twice as much here for the same exact unit.
 
Maybe I should just get a cheapie chinese one for $3000.

Had a wonderful Korean dinner with Fishi tonight! Looks like we'll be hanging out tomorrow too for a mini meet later at night so he can hear my Stax and check out my room. 
 
Oh, and I got my room all done, but I'm too lazy to actually take pics tonight. Maybe tomorrow when the lighting is better. :p

Aye boris, sorry couldnt get in touch with you over the weekend.. The prepaid sim card i had was faulty, and regal wanted to charge me for wifi access beyond 24 hours :frowning2:

The yuki kajiura concert brought about quite a mixed feeling, a sense of fulfillment mixed with a tinge of disappointment

Positives:
Attending the concert
Surviving with zilch knowledge of cantonese
Survivng on a limited budget

Negatives:
Sound system was subpar imo, i hated the cymbals on em
Wakana was off-form
They didn't end with 'everlasting song' :p

Wakana was excellent in indonesia early sept, i blame the smog and mooncakes for this round

On the other hand, the event organizer mentioned bout having kalafina back next year so it'll be a long, arduous wait >_<

lol yeah, that's why I never go to concerts except classical.
dem crappy PA speakers and venue acoustics...
