I'm guessing that it's English-translated. I prefer the manga more than the anime. Somehow it's more outrageous in the manga than the anime.


I found the anime very bad, to be honest. Gave it a 4/10. I was struggling to finish it.
Perhaps I could appreciate it more at this point, but I still doubt I'll find it very good.

Though I agree that generally speaking action/battle/sport shounen are better in manga, because manga is a better medium for over exaggeration.

That's why I never finished the anime. :evil:
Besides any time there's an explanation panel in a shonen series, it's always way better in manga than in anime because it doesn't look stupid and awkward; in anime they would likely repeat something or do something stupid that will make the scene stilted. There's no problem in manga.
