No way? As we can see, Audience, Cirrus Logic have custom chips on the A5 SoC as well as the TI chip, these schematics are not secret but they are lisenced. But yes, the SoC's for phones today use many CUSTOM parts or non custom parts from various manu's

How is it possible that apple can make their SoC's using other chips??
I seriously doubt ARM is just gonna give their schematic to apple and let apple find a 3rd party chip manufacturer to make it!
and what you're saying is that MULTIPLE companies are going to give their chip schematics to apple,
and let them combine the chips into a single die then manufacturer it?
